I began RPLHelp after completing the RPL process myself in order to get my 11 years as a Software Engineer recognised
against a nominated occupation of Software Programmer, ASCO code
2231-19, as I only hold a United Kingdom BTEC Higher National Diploma with IT
content less than 50%.
I embarked on the RPL application some 17 months before I finally submitted the
application to the ACS. I completed the main body of the work in the first
three months of working evenings and weekends on it, but then let my motivation
wane, and only finally managed to complete the application after engaging a
migration agent.
Whilst researching for the RPL I tried many avenues to find an example of an RPL application, but found this
almost impossible. I did find one example of the Project Management and
Quality Assurance and I found this very useful in preparing my RPL
application, however it would have been useful to have examples of other
sections, without having to pay and agent upwards of £500. This is where
RPLHelp comes in; as I have completed the RPL and have obtained a positive
assessment I thought I'd share my experiences and forms with those in a similar
position.
Only time will tell if this site proves useful to others, but I genuinely hope it is. If you have any comments
on this site or anything related to the RPL application please don't hesitate
